Announcement: International Rromani Language Courses Now Available in Costinești

The IDEE Association is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the
International Summer School of the Romani Language!

Advanced-level courses will be taught by Professor Emeritus Gheorghe Sarău, the creator of the Romani-language education system in Romania, which spans from kindergarten to doctoral studies.

The courses will take place in the Costinești seaside resort, on the Black Sea coast, from August 16 to 26, 2023. The Romani language program includes 50 hours of instruction and will be offered at three levels of proficiency:

• Beginner level, with instruction in the following languages: Romanian, English, French, Japanese, Chinese, German, Albanian, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Swedish;

• Intermediate level, with instruction in the following languages: Romanian, Romani, English, French, Japanese, Chinese, German, Albanian, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Swedish;

• Advanced level, with instruction exclusively in the Romani language.
